It is manufactured from a lead-free calcium organic PVC-U compound and is a BBA, CSTB accredited and BSI Kitemarked product. Deeplas products come with a guarantee of up to 20 years against fading or cracking giving you piece of mind and confidence in the product. Deeplas products can be supplied in a variety of colours.

As a rule we do not overclad old fascia and soffit

Overcladding is where the old fascia and soffit is left in place and a thinner 8mm board is installed over the current fascias. While it is true it is a cheaper alternative to full replacement it is not a long term solution as any rot or problems with the current fascias will still exist and continue to get worse behind the capping board leading to greater problems in the future. There are exceptions to this rule as every property is different.

Whilst every project is different, here is a general idea of the process in which your fascias will be replaced.

Step 1

After suitable access equipment is erected, the first row of tiles is carefully removed and any perished or damaged roof felt is cut back usually 100mm.

Step 2

The old fascia, soffit and guttering is removed. At this point the rafter feet are examined and repaired if necessary.

Step 3

New upvc fascia and soffit are installed along with your chosen guttering and downpipes.

Step 4

Bird guard, eaves tray and ventilation is installed and the roof tiles put back into position.all rubbish is removed and products cleaned.

Ventilation

It is now recommended to ventilate the roof space with the use of vents in the fascia and soffit, as a rule we will always leave the same if not more ventilation to the roof using hidden over fascia vents in the 3in1 system installed in your new roofline.
